the exact way I would be if no one were watching”

Meet the Vallances
What is your favourite activity to do together?
We both love to train together for our various physical pursuits - be it Hyrox or running. Most of all, we love to spend time outdoors with our precious girl Bessie! We just love being a team!
Favourite trip together?
Our favourite trip can’t be sumarised in one, it is all of our trips to Ibiza where we feel most at home. Spending time exploring the island during the day and dancing all night till sunrise.
What gift should I get you?
We’re getting hitched, the vows will be done
then it’ll be time for a bit of fun
we’re packing boots, not fancy shoes
and heading where they play good ol’ country music
your love is the best gift, tried and true
but a lil help? We’d thank y’all too!
Any contruibution towards our honeymoon in Nashville would be greatly appreciated.
Life goal
To leave the world a better place than we found it.
Introducing the wedding party
Emily is one of those rare people who instantly makes you feel like you’re home. Emily and I met whilst training to be solicitors. When sitting next to her I soon realised that we share the same opinions about everything and since then, our friendship has felt meant to be. Emily is someone that I can count on for unwavering support, sharp advice and the kind of company which makes everything feel lighter. Being Emily’s friend has been one of the greatest joys of my life, even more so because she has brought Laurie and Alfie into our lives too. We have all shared so many amazing memories with many more still to come.
I love you, Emily.
Emily Campbell - Maid of Honour
Gareth is my best man and best friend, and has been ever since we met years ago in New Cumnock Games Hall over a game of 5’s, with some tunes playing on the computer in the background. Since then, our friendship has only grown, built on shared humour, a love of music, and an unmatched ability to talk absolute nonsense over a few pints. Gareth is most at home behind the decks DJing or soaking up the atmosphere at a concert, and he has been a huge part of both my life and Cara’s over the years. Through Gareth, we have gotten to know Michelle. We’ve enjoyed double dates and trips away and have made loads of rootin tootin memories together. He’ll have you laughing with his speech and throughout the day. You’ll easily spot him either in the middle of the dancefloor when a country song comes on, or the guy at the bar who keeps buying trays of shots.

Bessie - Flower Girl
Our beloved girl will be our flower girl on the big day. As some of you might know, Bessie is a bichon frise we rescued a few years ago. She had a tough start in life, but is thriving in her new home. She is a mummy's girl through and through but has her Dad wrapped round her little paw. Bessie loves walks, cuddles, treats and stealing blankets - you have been warned.
THE VENUE
Whether you’re travelling from near or far, we’re so excited to welcome you to our special day! We’ve made things as simple as possible so you can focus on celebrating and not navigating.
Ceremony
Coylton Parish Church
27 Hillhead, Coylton,
KA6 6JT
There’s a spacious car park with ample parking right outside the church for guests. You’re welcome to leave your car there during the ceremony and drive on to the reception afterwards.
Reception
Roodlea Barn
KA6 6EP
After the ceremony, we’ll continue the celebrations at Roodlea Barn which is just a short drive away - approximately 5 minutes.
To get there, head out of Coylton towards Ayr, and as you round the sweeping corner, turn off onto the side road on the left — we’ll have a sign at the end to keep you right!
There’s plenty of parking at Roodlea Barn, and you’re welcome to leave your car overnight if you’re staying nearby or catching a taxi home.
Travel Tips
If you’re not planning to drive, don’t worry — there are a few easy ways to get to and from the venues.
🚆 By Train
Ayr Train Station has great links to Glasgow and beyond! Making it a simple option for those travelling from further afield. From the station, the easiest route is to grab a taxi, there’s a taxi rank right outside the station, and it’s only a short ride to either venue.
🚌 By Bus
Although the bus route passes near the venues, there’s no bus stop close enough to make it practical, so we’d recommend trains and taxis instead.
🚖 By Taxi
We’d suggest pre-booking your taxi in advance (especially for the return journey) to make sure you’re not waiting around at the end of the night.

Wedding Guest Lookbook
We’re so excited to see you all looking your best as we say “I do”!
Dress to impress - We kindly ask that guests skip the tartan.
Can't wait to see you all looking fabulous, see you on the dancefloor!
For those joining us from afar, our venue doesn’t offer on-site accommodation — but don’t worry, we’ve found some lovely nearby spots for you to rest your dancing feet after a day of celebrating! 💃🕺
Sundrum Castle Holiday Park
Visit Sundrum Castle Holiday Park
Just a short taxi ride (or a brisk stroll for any adventurous walkers!) from the venue, Sundrum Castle offers cosy caravans that sleep between 2 and 8 guests.
🚖 Top tip: We recommend pre-booking your taxis to avoid any wedding-night wanderings or carriage mix-ups!
STAY A WHILE
The closest hotel is the Bee Hive Hotel in Coylton, which has a small number of rooms. However, the venue is only a short drive from Ayr, where you’ll find plenty of hotel options including Travelodge, Premier Inn, Savoy 5, Horizon Hotel, Western House, The Fairfield House Hotel, Abbotsford Hotel, The Kylestrome and many other private accomodation options which can be found on both Booking.com and Airbnb.

Food Menu
On our special day, we’ll be keeping things deliciously informal with a pizza and pies, followed by wedding cake and ice cream. Rather than a traditional sit-down meal with multiple courses, we’d love everyone to enjoy more time dancing, mingling, and celebrating together.
Please see below for the food options available. And for those who work up an appetite on the dance floor later in the evening, a buffet will be served to keep the celebrations going.
Within your RSVP, there will be an opportunity to let us know of any dietary requirments or alergies which we will pass on to the caterers.
So, can you make it?
Clicking RSVP will take you to our online RSVP where you can let us know if you will be joining us. All you need to do is click the link and type in your name, please use your Christain name. You will then be asked the all important question.
To help us finalise numbers, please RSVP by 11/04/2026. We can only accomodate guests who have confirmed their attendance.
A Note on Children
We adore your children, but we’ve decided to keep our wedding an adults-only event. We hope this gives you a chance to relax and enjoy the day with us.
All-Day Guests
When you RSVP, we’ll ask you to share any dietary requirements and whether you’ll need transport from the ceremony to the reception.
If your invitation is addressed to you and your partner—or your whole family—you’ll be able to RSVP for everyone in one go. Easy!
If your invite says “and guest”, that means you’ve got a mystery plus-one. We’ll ask you to pop in their name so we can seat them properly and make them feel right at home.
We’ll also ask for your up-to-date address and contact details—partly so we can send lovely thank-you cards later, and partly to help us figure out if we need buses in your area.
Evening Guests
Your RSVP will be nice and simple. We’ll ask you to confirm your name and let us know if you’re able to join us for the evening celebrations.
You’ll also be asked whether you’ll need transport home at the end of the night, so we can make sure everyone gets back safely after a great party.
We really hope you can make it and help us dance the night away!
Thanks a million. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!
